Academy

Methodology

  • The Academy's activity develops according to the most innovative standards present on the global market today.
The methodology is common to training and teaching sectors of other sports disciplines.
  • In recent years, golf, and beyond, has seen the introduction of software that can help analyze a student's technical movements. This allows instructors to help players visualize the movements they need to improve. This technique was immediately embraced by the Academy, turning it into a working method that has proven extremely productive for students to date, who have seen tangible benefits both in their game and in their swing practice.
  • The Academy's resourcefulness and desire to improve means that, although it has consolidated a winning working method, it doesn't stop to look at "how much it has done" to make its work more effective, but focuses its project on "what could be done to make it even more important and effective?"
  • It is by answering this question that the Academy project was born.
  • The idea is simply to make the work processes organic, also using technology, and to integrate them with topics that until now have been excluded from the practice of technical golf teaching to amateurs:
    • The (biomechanical) technique of the swing and its dynamics
    • The game on the field (coaching)
    • The physical and motor aspects and physical preparation for the activity
    • The “head” game, the psychology of golf.

Instruments

  • Tradition dictates that golf is learned on the course, and we certainly can't argue with that. It's a fact!
  • The great champions of the past, Ben Hogan above all, show us that the swing is learned simply by practicing the movement with a ball, a club and a little space on suitable terrain.
  • Today, player training has completely changed: before, the focus was on sheer quantity, spending hours and hours training, without paying attention to the details. Today, through biomechanical, anthropomorphic, and biopsychological analysis of the athlete, we can find the least traumatic and invasive way to maximize their performance.
  • We have certainly moved to a job that prioritizes quality over quantity.
  • And then more and more often, we see athletes seeking maximum performance even during training, as if they were already in competition.
